Anna & Jan

Getting the opportunity to photograph a wedding on the Isle of Skye is one of the most amazing opportunities. Throw in an amazing, adventurous couple like Anna and Jan and you are literally living the dream. We love heading onto Skye because we have so many connections to the island and one of our favourite spots is Ord. When Anna and Jan told us they wanted to have their couple photos there, we were like… ‘ehhh, HECK yes!’ We were even happier when we saw these two grab out their wellies and seeing how eager they were to climb any hill or rock. Their beautiful island wedding was relaxed, fun, intimate and adventurous. We loved photographing their story.

Working with Eilidh and Lloyd was such a lovely experience. It didn’t make a difference that our wedding was far away or that we moved during the planning, every time I chatted with Eilidh she was excited and genuinely happy about helping plan our day! I absolutely loved her photos. Then you find out that not only are her services competitively priced, but you got an engagement shoot included, which is something we never would have considered doing, but now cherish. The day itself went so smoothly, I didn’t feel odd that someone was taking my photo, it felt very natural and fun. We had fantastic weather and the memory of climbing across water and seaweed in wellies and dancing on the road are some of my favorite parts of the day. Not to mention that these lovely fun moments have given us photos to last a lifetime. I can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve gotten about our photos. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and these incredible photos capture every moment perfectly. Thanks again Eilidh and Lloyd!

“My favourite moment of the day was when my mum secretly organised her choir to come and sing a beautiful Gaelic song as a surprise, there wasn’t a dry eye in the hall and I’ll remember it forever.”
